Saper Glass offer a full range of fire rated glazed doors and screens which can be tailored to suit virtually any design configuration. Using fully tested and certified profiles from the world’s leading manufacturers, we provide solutions that cater for doors up to an EI90 rating and fixed screens up an EI120 rating.

Our standard fire rated door detail is based upon a traditional “over rebated” profile which needs to be self closing and retained by a lever operated latch to achieve its fire rating. Requirements for access control locking, powered operation and electromagnetic hold open can also be incorporated within our door system.

Non rebated “latchless” door systems are also available which use intumescent seals to achieve their fire rating and do not need to be held closed with a latch. This means they can be fitted with a simple pull handle making them better suited for use in high traffic areas such as lift lobbies and public buildings.

Our steel framed systems are supplied as standard in a powder coat finish, the colour of which can be selected from a wide range of standard RALs and more specialist metallic colours. Satin stainless steel finish is also available in selected product ranges.
